Day 1: Flight from … to Uzbekistan/ TASHKENT

Day 2: ARRIVE TASHKENT, SIGHTSEEING
On arrival in Tashkent you will be transferred to your hotel. Tashkent is the capital of Uzbekistan and rightfully claims to be the biggest and most cosmopolitan city of Central Asia. The highlights of Tashkent: Chorsu Bazaar in the old part of Tashkent, Kukuldash Mosque and Khast Imom architectural complex, Place of Independence, Amir Temur Square. Lunch & dinner in traditional restaurants. Overnight in Tashkent.
Day 3: TASHKENT –KHIVA
Early breakfast. Transfer to the Tashkent domestic airport. Flight for Urgench(07:50). Arrival in Urgench (09:10). Transfer to the city of Khiva(35km). Full day trip for discovering the fantastic cidatel in Khiva which counts more than 250 monuments protected by the state and UNESCO. The highlights of Khiva: Ark citadel; Madrasas Muhammad Amin, Muhammad Rakhim; Mosque Juma, Palace Tash Khovli, Caravanserail Allakuli, Mausoleum Pakhlavan Makhmud. Before dinner you will enjoy a Traditional Folklore Dances show in one of the beautiful madrasas of the 18th century. Overnight in Khiva.
Day 4: KHIVA
After breakfast you will have time for visiting a Wood Carving workshop which is situated in the citadel. You will see all the procedure of the work during this visit. Options: Possibility of visiting wood carving workshop, climbing to the minarets for having a view over the citadel, walking on the city walls for enjoying the sunset, master-class of preparation of the most traditional uzbek food “Plov”).

Day 5: DRIVE TO BUKHARA (450km)
Breakfast. Drive to Bukhara through the vast desert Kyzylkum. During the drive you will enjoy outstanding landscapes of the Kizilkum desert and the panoramic view of Amudarya river. Lunch in desert road restaurant. You will arrive in Bukhara by the end of the day. Free time. Overnight in Bukhara.
Day 6: BUKHARA (visits on foot)
After breakfast you will start a tour of Bukhara. The highlights of Bukhara: Ismail Samoni mausoleum, Kalon complex, Miri Arab Madrassa (16th century), Ulugbek and Abdilazizkhan Madrassa (17th century) and Magoki Attory Mosque (12th century), Lyabi House complex (16th century), Ark Fortress and Chor Minor (19th century). Dinner with a Music& Dances show in the madrasa Nodir Devonbegi.

Day 7: BUKHARA (visits)
Today you will visit the monuments outside the city of Bukhara, including the Nakshbandi Mausoleum, and the summer residence of Bukharan emirs - Sitori-Mohi Khosa. In the second part of the day you can visit the main workshops of Bukhara: Persian Miniatures workshop of the famous artist Davlat Toshev, Suzani workshop of the craftsman Rahmon Toshev, Oriental Puppets workshop.

Day 8: BUKHARA – SAMARKAND (250 km)
After breakfast transfer to Samarkand by car. Arrival in Samarkand in the afternoon. Transfer to hotel for some free time. Visits in Samarkand: the mausoleum of Tamerlan, the place of Registan with its 3 magnificent monuments. Overnight in Samarkand.
Day 9: SAMARKAND (visits)
Breakfast. Full day dedicated for visits in Samarkand. The highlights of Samarkand: Shakhi Zinda Necropolis, the grandiose Bibi Khanym Mosque, Bazar Siab, Observatory of Ulugbeg, Samarkand Silk Paper workshop. Before dinner you will enjoy “Traditional Clothes of Central Asia” dance show.

Day 10: SAMARKAND – KOKAND – MARGILAN (520km)
After breakfast you will drive towards Ferghana valley through dry steppes and rich mountains. Arrival in Kokand (13:30). Lunch in Kokand. The highlights of Kokand: Khudoyorkhan’s Palace, Jome Mosque. After the visit you will take the car for arriving in the city of textiles – Margilan. Overnight in Margilan
Day 11: Margilan – Rishtan – Tashkent
Breakfast. Transfer to Rishtan. Rishtan has become a home to nearly 70% of ceramists of Central Asia during Soviet times and still one can see ceramics workshops everywhere. In the afternoon you will take the road towards Tashkent
Arrival in Tashkent. Dinner. Transfer to the hotel.
