Day 1: Arrival in Tashkent
Arrive in Tashkent. Transfer from the airport to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Tashkent – Kokand – Fergana (380km)
Drive to Fergana Valley . The steep road which connects Fergana Valley with the rest of Uzbekistan runs via picturesque mountain pass Kamchik (2267 m. above the sea level). You will visit the main points of interest of Fergana valley in Kokand: Khudoyor-Khan Palace, Jame Mosque. Continue driving to Fergana city (80 km). Check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Fergana – Margilan – Rishtan – Tashkent
In the morning, drive from Fergana to Margilan. Have a walk on traditional market and continue to Yodgorlik Silk Factory to see the production process of silk with traditional Ikat patterns. Drive to Rishtan to the house of a well-known ceramic master Rustam Usmanov whose works are exhibited on world exhibitions. This small gallery & workshop of ceramics is considered as one of the Main tourist attractions of Fergana valley. After the visits return to Tashkent. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Tashkent – Nukus – Muynak – Nukus
Morning flight to Nukus (1255 km, 2 h. 45 min.). Arrive in Nukus and drive to former fishermen’s town Muynak (210 km, 3 h.), which used to be situated on the shores of the Aral Sea. On the way stop at archaeological complex Mizdakhan. In Muynak have a look at a former port with abandoned ships in the sand – “Cemetery of ships”. Then visit Muynak Hostiry Musuem with art exhibits of the Aral Sea history.
In the afternoon return to Nukus. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Nukus – Khiva
Visit the Savitsky Art Museum. The museum hosts the world's second largest collection of Russian avant-garde art and exposition of Karakalpak applied arts items.
In the afternoon depart to Khiva (200 km, 4-5 h.). On the way visit archaeological monuments of Ancient Khorezm: Toprak Kala, Ayaz Kala & Kyzyl Kala. Arrive in Khiva, check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Khiva
Full day for sightseeing of Khiva – the sightseeing including visits to the inner town of Ichan Kala (XIV-XX CC) with Muhamad Amin khan Madrassah, Kalta Minor Minaret, Kunya Ark, Muhamad Rahim khan Madrassah, Djuma Mosque and Minaret, Tash Hauli Palace, Islam Khodja Minaret and Madrassah, Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum. Night in Khiva.
Day 7: Khiva – Bukhara (450 km, 7 hrs)
Breakfast in the hotel. Drive to Bukhara via the Kizilkum (Red) desert. Currently the road between Khiva and Bukhara is under reconstruction and it will take around 8-9 hours to reach Bukhara from Khiva. Arrive Bukhara, hotel check-in, free time. Night in Bukhara.
Day 8: Bukhara
Breakfast in the hotel. Full day in Bukhara. City tour for 4 hrs with visits to the Ark Fortress (I-XX CC), Bolo Hauz Mosque (XVIII C), Samanids Mausoleum (IX-X CC), Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum (XII-XVI CC). Tour on foot along the old town of Bukhara from Poi- Kalyan complex with Kalyan Minaret (XII C) through orient bazaars with three trade domes of Toki Zargaron (XV C), Toki Sarrafon (XVI C), Toki Telpak Furushon (XVI C), Ulugbek Madrassah (XV C), Abdulazizkhan Madrassah (XVII C) to the Lyabi Hauz complex (XVI -XVII CC). Night in Bukhara.
Day 9: Bukhara
Start the second day with a visit to the summer residence of Bukhara’s last emir Sitorai Mokhi Khossa & the Naqshbandi complex. Enjoy free time in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Bukhara – Nurata – Yurt Camp
In the morning depart Bukhara and drive to yurt camp located in Kyzyl Kum desert (230 km, 4 h.*). On the way stop in Gijduvan Ceramics Workshop and Nurata town to visit a local mosque with a holy spring water. In the afternoon continue driving to yurt camp in Kyzyl Kum desert. Stop on Nurata pass to see rock carvings. Arrive in Yurt Camp, accommodation in yurt. Camel riding and free time. In the evening dinner near the camp fire with Kazakh akin singing folk songs. Overnight in the yurt.
Day 11: Yurt camp - Samarkand
In the morning visit desert Lake Aydarkul. Free time on the lake. In the afternoon drive to Samarkand (260 km). Arrival and overnight in Samarkand.
Day 12: Samarkand
Full day sightseeing of Samarkand includes the visits to Gur Emir Mausoleum (where conqueror Amir Temur (Temurlane), famous Registan Square (with Madrassa Sherdor XVII century, Tilla Kori and Ulugbek XV century), remains of grandiose Bibi Khanum Mosque, Samarkand oriental bazaar, Shokhi Zinda necropolis (important pilgrimage place in Samarkand). Night in Samarkand.
Day 13: Samarkand
Continue sightseeing Samarkand: Ulugbek Observatory (XV C), Excavation of an ancient city and museum of Afrosiyab, Tombstone of Saint Danyar. And if the time will be available visit “Samarkand-Bukhara Silk Carpets” factory, where you can observe the whole process of weaving silk carpets based on “handmade” technology. Enjoy free time with car and driver at your disposal after sightseeing tour. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 14: Samarkand – Shakhrisabz – Termez
In the morning depart Samarkand and drive to Shakhrisabz (90 km, 2 h.). Have a short city tour in Shakhrisabz. Visit Mausoleum of Jakhongir in Dor-us Saodat Complex, remains of Ak-Saray Palace, Kok Gumbaz mosque. In the afternoon continue driving to Termez (290 km, 5 h.). Arrive in Termez, check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 15: Termez – Tashkent
Start sightseeing in ancient Buddhist center and one of the oldest cities in Central Asia – Termez. Drive out of the city to explore Zurmala Tower – Buddha's stupa, mausoleum of At-Termizi, Buddhist temple Fayaz Tepa, Kyrk-kiz fortress, Sulton Saodat ensemble, Termez archaeology museum. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 16: Tashkent
Sightseeing in the biggest city in Central Asia with a guide. Visit the old part of Tashkent with madrasahs, mosques, mausoleums, bazaars and the metro. Enjoy free time in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 17: Tashkent – departure
Transfer to the airport. End of the tour.
