The nature of our planet is arranged extremely harmoniously. Each natural zone has its own characteristics and its beauty, each region is unique and beautiful. You will not find anywhere two identical valleys, two identical streams. Millions of years have made the Earth a wonderful world filled with an endless variety of wonders of life. The Tashkent Botanical Garden is a place where you can find all beauties of rural life without leaving a cosmopolitan city.

During the Great Patriotic War, when the people from all over the USSR were evacuated to Tashkent and nearby cities, the Botanical Garden was opened in the capital of Uzbekistan with the initiative of Academician Fyodor Rusanov. For more than half a century, thousands of species of plants have been collected here from all over the world.

To date, more than 4000 species of trees, flowers and other plants are represented in the unique natural area of Tashkent. The botanical garden itself is divided into 5 parts, which correspond to the flora of Central Asia, East Asia, North America and Europe, including the natural areas of the Crimea, the Caucasus and the Far East. All this became possible thanks to the sharply continental, but still favorable climate of Uzbekistan, in which it is possible to plant plants from other climatic zones.

The taste of this beautiful garden begins with a small pond in which tender pink lotuses bloom. Further, along the garden there are several avenues that will necessarily lead to the central area. Here all the sectors of the park are connected, so you can start a walk from any climatic region, whether it's the flora of America, Europe or Asia. But

In the Botanical Garden in addition to open areas there are greenhouses, a greenhouse, and a special nursery for medicinal herbs. They represent numerous species of exotic plants from tropical and subtropical countries. The most famous rare plants in Uzbekistan are metasequoia, ginkgo, magnolia, tulip tree, Japanese quince, eremurus, marsh cypress, iris, and others.

It should be noted that this garden is beautiful in its own way in spring, summer, autumn: In the spring, the garden blooms, is full of greenery in the summer and saves from heat, and in autumn it's just a fairy-tale palette from bright yellow to dark red. Here you can come with children, with a group of friends for a picnic. Often one can see school excursions or actions of ecologists of Uzbekistan. By the way, if you take a walk with a guide, it will be much more interesting: an employee of the Botanical Garden will tell stories and legends associated with unique plants. This is truly a magical place - here you can relax with your body and soul.
